Dr. Maneesh K. Mehan

Maneesh Mehan MD founded Mehan Eye in 2009. He was born and raised in Dayton Ohio graduating from Beavercreek High School. Following his passion for playing the saxophone, he was awarded his undergraduate degree in music at Brigham Young University. He discovered a new interest in helping others to see better and attended The Ohio State University for his medical school. While in medical school, he performed research in ophthalmology and also was a member of The Ohio State Jazz Ensemble. Dr. Mehan continued eye surgeon training at the University of Missouri, and he became a fellowship trained corneal specialist at the nationally top ten ranked prestigious eye center at the University of Iowa. Dr. Mehan strives to give his very best to every one of his patients. His greatest success is his family, and he and his wife are proud parents of five children.

Dr. Jacob Boroff

Dr. Jacob Boroff

Jacob Boroff, O.D., M.S.,is originally from Lucas, Ohio. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree at The College of Wooster and later earned his Master’s Degree and Doctorate of Optometry at The Ohio State University College of Optometry. He then completed a residency at the Dayton Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center to further strengthen his knowledge and management of ocular diseases.

Dr. Boroff currently lives in Beavercreek, Ohio with his wife and enjoys hiking at the finest community parks with his golden retriever (Ellie) and collie (Logan), playing disc golf/ping pong, and fishing.

Concentrations:
Comprehensive eye care, including the evaluation and treatment of red eye, diabetic retinopathy, corneal ulcers, fuchs corneal dystrophy, glaucoma, and macular degeneration.

Special clinical emphasis on new and chronic dry eye care. Some treatment options include: silicone punctal plugs, OCuSOFT Thermal 1-Touch (Localized Heat Therapy) for management of meibomian gland dysfunction, and AB Max for management of anterior blepharitis.

Pre- and post-surgical care of cataracts, and various corneal procedures/transplantations.
